WEIRDEST SHIT
I walked out of my room and stopped at the kitchen bench to talk to Mam and my sister.
Mam starts smiling and is like, "I've got something to tell you"
I START TO PANIC. THIS IS NEVER A GOOD THING IN OUR HOUSE.
Mam hesitates to tell me, "..Tash will tell Paul!"
Tash shakes her head.
Mam continues; "I've decided that I will sign for your phone BUT ONLY if you get a $40 cap."
ABSOLUTELY STUNNED.
I went on to explain:
a) You cannot get the phone I want on a $40 cap. And even it were an option you'd still have to pay X amount of dollars for the phone.
b) And so it's better value to get the $79 cap according to this cnet comparison:
But I declined anyway. Even if she were persuaded to go onto the $79 cap. Allowing my mother to sign off for that phone is like allowing my mother to sign off for my liberity. It'll become my vice, which she'd use against me. Cutting off service until I do a certain task, or even just the threat of doing so will have me under constant fear.
It's the soul reason why I didn't ask her in the first place. Another being she just wouldn't.
No I'm not being dramatic about it. SHE WAS BORN WITHOUT REASONING POWER PEOPLE. IT'S A FUCKING TIGHTROPE.
Alas, I thanked her. I wonder what changed her mind. Interesting.
Speaking of phones; Pauls doesn't work. It was working when I gave it back to him. It must have been because he PUT IT UNDER THE TAP TWICE WHILST IT WAS ON AND SPRAYED DETERGENTS ON IT. But I'm still paying for it. Whatever, twat.
