"BNP leader Nick Griffin's performance on BBC's Question Time was branded "absolutely disgusting" last night.

The extreme-right politician's appearance sparked mayhem outside the BBC in London as a huge crowd protested against Griffin being allowed to spout his poisonous views.

And the BNP leader looked flustered as a young Jewish questioner asked why he had previously dismissed the Holocaust - in which six million Jews dies at the hands of the Nazis - as lies.

Griffin's odd claim was: "We are the Aborigines here in this country. That is why people are voting BNP - because people feel shut out in their own country."

Griffin was heckled with shouts of rubbish and you're a disgrace as he described gay people as "creepy".

At one point, Griffin was reprimanded by presenter David Dimbleby for smiling as he avoided answering a question over his views on the Holocaust."
