I mean it happens to me all too often. Just when I hit the right age, something I've been waiting for, is torn away. Like when I waited for so long to hit year 6 so I could finally go to this famous Wonderland. It closed down that year.
Nonsense. Absolute nonsense. I mean, I'd be able to vote, own a credit card and pay for adult tickets on the train and bus BUT NOT BE ABLE TO DRINK? WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

Not to forget that everyone starts drinking at the age of 15 anyway- as if pushing the 'legal' age will have any effect. Unless he can prove it will make a difference, he won't be able to do it.
